To make an epic movie, director’s vision is always important. As when drama created as neo-noir concept, then requirement is too much study. After that, the art will form as best level. Then a epic movie can create. It is my thought. But am not make a single movie. I can’t think that level also.  But I believe Anurag Kashyap can create that type. And his upcoming movie ‘Bombay Velvet’ can change the definition of Indian film history.

Film noir is a French word. Which means ‘Black film’. American critic Nino Frank first discover the term for American Crime Dramas in early 1940 to late 1950. Historian Gyan Prakash’s book ‘Bombay Fables’ is the story of Bombay’60. Where crime was too much open. Indian film Industry was growing up. Crime also matured in city life. That is the timeline of story.

‘Bombay Velvet’ is a story of Boxer’s life. In the same time, story also tells jazz singer Rosie’s fight. One day their hope was collapsed and crisis of life. This is the basic story. Director Anurag Kashyap inspired by ‘Los Angeles Quartet’. The crime fiction is written by James Ellroy. The crime of Bombay was always panic full. Director Anurag Kashyap want to dig them properly. And the perfectionist director use them in a film. I think, master of art may be created.

The 2nd time in his career, Ranvir Kapoor will face a challenge. 1^st was ‘Barfi’. Now the time, he in lead role in ‘Bombay Velvet’ as boxer Johny Balraj. Anushka Sharma’s character is Rosie, a jazz singer. And renowned director Karan Johar will make debut as a lead actor. Bollywood films and 100 Crore project. Regional films and national award. This is the real culture of Indian film industry. All actors, all directors and all producers also know about the ghost inside of 100 crore project. They accepted the term, which was created by media. Good performance, good story telling power is meaningless.

Regional films have to prove in the same time. They have small budget. They does not expect for business. But they passionate about story. Actually they think about national award. Directorate of Film Festivals arranged by the government. Regional film makers believe this association for potential work. Mumbai is a private industry. Every professional film makers dreamed about the mother of film industry. Always Mumbai is a hardcore professional place. Who have to make a film there? They are happy with his/her local language. Its proved, local language have that power to give international message.

Now time Bollywood most actor and actress looking for performance based film. Young and upcoming director and screenplay writer started their work in industry. Somebodies are telling about classics. Because trends are changing smoothly. They guessed and think about his/her ending career. So you have to moved and you have to adjust with new look. If you not, you are out of industry. After 100 years of Indian Film, regional film now ahead in last lap. Tamil, Bengali, Guajarati, Marathi, all regional films remake by Mumbai film industry. It’s shown, how they are in critically crisis for a good story.  Who are believe in acting and performance in screen, they always adjust at the worst conditions also.

Problem is money. Now the small director, who created a film in small budget, they are passionate. When he earn money from somewhere, are changing their mind. Then he think about, how to whereabouts script make a hundred crore success. As a viewer, we always want to see a good story in my screen. Some Bollywood films, which I like to go and watch in theater (maybe I am non-conventional). It’s really deficiency in Bollywood? 

Yo Yo Honey Sigh and a social Problem

It’s Fact. It’s all about social fact. And you have to accept this all kind of things. If you not, then you may go your own world. Because all of among us, accepting this. YYHS is not only, who started this things. You must have to say in Indian music.

Yo Yo Honey Sigh. Honey is in his name, but lyrics isn't much honey. Middle class Indian people can’t accept his song. But upper and lower, who are accepting and make him popular. Which people, who thought the lyrics is very raw and adult contents, they can’t make a single change of social fact. Yo Yo Honey Sigh trying to start. He faced many problem and prohibited. What is the really problem for us, like third world country? Here our social problem is too much. Almost 60 percent can’t not earn money with giving proper tax. If I travel in auto in my city, I can’t here after reaching my destination. Loud speaker can harm my ears. And most popularly they like to listen Yo Yo Honey Sigh. When the driver saw you with beautiful women, they start to play honey sigh. If you travel with your mother or sister, then you have to listen using slang lyrics. May be all auto driver are not treated same way. But it’s a really big problem.

But at the end,  if the fact can happen in my city, in my country,  the art can also be created by artist. Movie, literature and theater, all kind of arts have to right, to say social problems. If we can’t change ourselves, we haven’t right to say. 

INDIAN FILM: Breaking the conventional thoughts

Bollywood Movie's trend has changed in several years. Once upon a time in Mumbai scenario was something predictable. A hero, a heroine and an ITEM SONG. Some common twist and some common ending sequence. Now this chapter almost dead. Now time to move on.  Time to compete with International classics. Indian director can create some magic in screen. Which make us proud. Which dreams are seen by Satyajit Ray, Rittik Ghatak, and most renowned bollywood directors, that can be true.  
I want to tell about concept. MASALA type story was well and good. Till today a masala film and influencing dialogue make entertain Indian people. Box office profit and Best film, these two facts are very rare to combine each other. First thing acting and second is story. Respected filmmakers are capable to create a magic. But I think, Two facts are enough to make audience happiness.
I did not know about marketing. Somehow about viewer. The journeyman who sustain their life day by day, love to watch movie what kind for. What is the dream came in a life of middle class house wife. And also about GEN Y of urban area. Because am also among of them.
'Pather pachali' by Satyajit Ray.  How simple movie can change everything. Want to see that kind of movie. You can say me, idiot and bullshit bloggers!  you can, but this time, that change the pattern of Indian film Industry. All regional films give a new concept. Bollywood Also produced this kind of thoughts. Because storyteller starting to think their idealism.
Once upon a time, in bollywood, there is too many fictional film. Respected film makers, they are thought about happy ending. After seeing their films, viewer can't be upset. like 'amar kathati furolo, Note gachti murolo'. Breaking the conventional thought and create a new mark, always been difficult. Bollywood now matured after hundred years. Story telling processes are changing every minutes. That is a good sign for film lover like us. I wish, all kind of viewers also habituated with new story telling style.
